The Last Temptation of Christ

Living as a modest carpenter in Judea, Jesus experiences a profound awakening regarding his status as the son of God. This revelation brings immense psychological strain, as he struggles with the daunting expectations placed upon him as the savior of mankind. Meanwhile, Judas attempts to persuade him to join a militant resistance movement against the Roman occupation. Jesus remains steadfast in his belief that salvation is achieved through love rather than force, yet he is constantly plagued by deep-seated self-doubt. Throughout his journey, he must reconcile his spiritual mission with the overwhelming burden of his divine nature and the world's turmoil.
