Days of Heaven

Following a tragic incident involving his supervisor, a Chicago steel mill employee goes on the run. Seeking refuge and employment, he travels to the Texas panhandle alongside his girlfriend and his small sister. The trio finds work as seasonal laborers, spending their days harvesting wheat on the vast property of a reserved, stoic farmer. As they integrate into this rural landscape, the group attempts to maintain their anonymity while navigating the challenges of their new life under the harsh sun of the open fields, far removed from the industrial world they left behind in the city.
