The Beguiled

A Union soldier finds himself sheltered within a remote girls' academy located in the South during the final stages of the Civil War. As he recovers from his injuries, he becomes the focal point of the students' and teachers' intense romantic fixations. The soldier attempts to exploit these shifting dynamics for his personal benefit. However, tensions escalate when he fails to fulfill the expectations of the women surrounding him. This refusal triggers a volatile reaction, as the inhabitants of the school decide to obstruct his departure, trapping him in a complex web of psychological games and mounting hostility.
