Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

A history professor and his spouse host a younger faculty couple for an evening of drinks that quickly devolves into a volatile social encounter. As the night progresses, the hosts expose their guests to the deep-seated bitterness and intense animosity that characterize their own long-term relationship. What begins as a standard academic gathering transforms into a raw display of dysfunction as long-held secrets emerge. The older couple forces their visitors to witness the full weight of their troubled marriage, stripping away social pretenses to reveal the underlying hostility that defines their private lives and their interactions with one another.
