Story
Following the closure of his restaurant, forty-year-old chef Clay Maguire finds himself forced to rebuild his professional life from scratch. Lacking traditional corporate experience, he enters the peculiar realm of the Unemployable Interviewees of America. Alongside a group of fellow job-seekers, Clay struggles to maintain his self-respect while vying for low-wage positions, including answering customer service calls for prison inmates. This narrative provides a humorous and observant examination of the modern interview process, the challenges of mid-life career transitions, and the persistent courage required to begin again when everything you have built has suddenly disappeared.
