Paul, Apostle of Christ

In the shadow of Emperor Nero’s reign, the apostle Paul languishes within a Roman dungeon, awaiting his inevitable execution. Risking his own safety, Luke travels to the prison to visit the captive leader. As Paul looks back on his life and ministry, the local Christian community struggles to survive under severe oppression. Motivated by these encounters, Luke begins the vital task of chronicling the history of the early church. This narrative captures the profound connection between the two men as they navigate a time of intense suffering and spiritual endurance while facing the threat of death.
