The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

This anthology film presents six unique narratives set in the American Old West following the conclusion of the Civil War. The collection features a variety of characters, including a musical marksman, an aspiring bank thief, and a pair of exhausted itinerant performers. Additional segments focus on a solitary gold seeker, a woman journeying toward an ambiguous destiny, and a diverse group of passengers sharing a stagecoach ride. Each vignette captures a different facet of frontier life, weaving together the disparate experiences of these individuals as they traverse the vast and unforgiving landscape of the nineteenth-century American West.
