The Best of Enemies

Civil rights campaigner Ann Atwater and local Ku Klux Klan leader C.P. Ellis find themselves in a tense alliance as they reluctantly co-chair a community summit. Their mission involves navigating the difficult and contentious process of desegregating local schools. As these two figures clash over the future of their community, the events surrounding this summit create a profound impact on the city and fundamentally alter the personal trajectories of both individuals involved in this historic struggle for equality.
